Oli Frape is a hand-lettering artist based in London who creates engaging, informal and conversational typographic works. His work utilises a wide range of hand-made typographic treatments that he has developed over time allowing him to express other people’s words in interesting ways.
His lettering works are always hand-drawn and celebrate the imperfections and textures of marks made in non-digital ways. Oli has worked on a wide selection of projects with a broad and diverse list of clients including Penguin Random House, The Guardian, O2, Nationwide, Hovis, Estee Lauder and Deloitte.
MP Arts is the sister agency to photographic counterpart Making Pictures. We currently represent 30 leading image-makers, designers and illustrators.
We develop, nurture, and maintain lasting careers for our artists through high production standards, curating quality portfolios, encouraging exceptional artistic and personal projects, and providing a platform through which to identify, direct and facilitate commercial work. MP have a team of 8 industry specialists to guide and manage our artists careers.
We understand the changing face of the visual industry – offering a forward thinking approach combined with an ability to create fully integrated campaigns through new media.
Our aim is to extend our passion and enthusiasm for representation beyond photography, and widen our horizons to new and existing platforms, audiences and clients. The development and creation of our roster has taken time and care - please contact Tim Higgs if you would like to discuss a project or commission one of our illustrators.
